What is your Deposit and Cancellation Policy?
I require a deposit of $200 in order to issue a Rental Confirmation. The total balance of your rental is due no later than 45 days prior to your arrival. You may cancel at any time without penalty (less any credit card fees that I incur) 60 days or more prior to your arrival. If cancellation is requested between 45 and 60 days prior to arrival:  Only the $200 deposit will be forfeited. If cancellation occurs 45 days or less prior to arrival:  No refunds will be given unless the unit gets re-rented during your time frame.  The refund amount will coinside with the rental rate of the new guest.  (i.e. If a short rental discount is applied.)  Cancellations or early departure after check in does not warrrant any rental refunds unless covered under our Hurricane Refund Policy.  When making final payment; your deposit will count towards your balance.

What is the Hurricane Refund Policy?
If the National Weather Service issues an evacuation (mandatory or voluntary) order for the Fort Walton Beach area and:    
                  *if you already occupy the unit, and you choose or are forced to evacuate; you will be  
                  refunded a prorated amount based on the rental rate plus taxes only for early departure.
                  *if you are scheduled to arrive on that day; you may choose either a complete refund or
                  delay your occupancy until later in the week at a prorated fee.

What is the service fee?

Your $115.00 service fee includes housekeeping and a "Peace of Mind" protection plan which covers any items that may get damaged during your stay. Theft is NOT covered under this plan. All we ask is that is that if something gets broken; please let us know so that it can be replaced or repaired. It's that easy.

How do I reserve my vacation dates?

1. Call or e-mail to hold your vacation dates. (Dates are not confirmed until payment is received).
2. Download the Rental Agreement via our wesite or request a copy via e-mail.  Complete and return the
    Rental Agreement either by e-mail, fax, or regular mail to the address on the agreement along with
    a copy of your Drivers License.
3. Payment:  
            By Check:  Mail your deposit check of $200 to the address on the agreement.
            By Credit Card:  Use the Pay Pal link on our website and submit your $200 deposit online.  Enter
                                         your rental dates in the Pay Pal description box.
4. You will receive an e-mailed confirmation and invoice when payment has been received.
5. I will e-mail a friendly reminder 60 days prior to your arrival so that final payment can be made.
6. When final payment is received, I will e-mail instructions on door codes, parking permits,and other
    information needed.

What about pets?
Sorry, but unless you are an owner; pets are not allowed on the Waters Edge property.

What do I need to do when I leave the condo?
Before you depart, we would appreciate your help with the following:

     *I know it's tempting (and a nice thought), but please don't leave any food in the condo.
     *Place all debris, rubbish, and discards in the trash chute, located across from condo #216.
     *Place all soiled bath, kitchen towels, and washcloths on the floor in front of the washer / dryer.
     *Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn on.  (Detergent is located under the sink.)
     *Turn off all lights and set the thermostat to 78.
     *Check-out is no later than 10:00 AM.
     *Please write comments on our VRBO website.

What do I need to bring on my vacation?
I can't tell you exactly what to bring, but I will tell you what is provided.

     *All sheets, towels, blankets, pillows, dishes, utensils, and cookware are provided.
     *A limited amount of laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, and dishwasher soap are provided.
     *A limited amount of toilet paper and trash bags are provided.
     *A limited amount of bath soap and shampoos are provided.
     *Hair dryers are provided in each bathroom.
     *The kitchen is equipped with standard dishes, silverware, pots and pans, and paper towels.
     *The televisions in the living room and bedroom have easy to reach video inputs so that you can connect
       a Game Cube or Wii. We also provide a Sony PlayStation 2 with a few games for your enjoyment.
     *The condo has a desk top computer for your use and is also equipped with complimentary high speed
       and wireless internet.
     *A permanently installed air compressor inflator, located in the utility closet, is available for guest use to
       inflate your personal pool rafts, pool rings, etc. 
     *Seasonal (Mar 1st - Oct 31st) Beach Service provided. Included are 2 chairs and an umbrella. (a $20 /
       day value)
